Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Greiner joins Live Oak following an internship at a veterinary specialist hospital in Rhode Island. Unlike in human medicine, internships are not required for veterinarians. This internship allowed her to work with patients under the supervision of board-certified specialists and very experienced emergency doctors. Dr. Greiner graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and performed her clinical year at Texas A&M, but she is no stranger to West Texas or the Live Oak team. She played softball for Clarendon College, graduated from Texas Tech with a BS in Animal Science, and worked with our doctors as a technician before pursuing her veterinary degree. Dr. Greiner is a certified scuba diver and enjoyed scuba diving in the Caribbean Sea while attending veterinary school. Additionally, she enjoys sports, being outdoors, and loving on her two cats when she isn't practicing. Dr. Greiner's veterinary interests include general surgery and emergency medicine/critical care.
