Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Doug R Hendrix was born and raised in Alief, Texas and worked for Dr. L.O. Harrell throughout his high school and college career. Dr. Hendrix graduated from Texas A&M University in 1997 and purchased Sugar Land Pet Hospital in 1999, from the Harrell family. Dr. Hendrix provides a variety of services for small animals, including internal medicine and surgery. At home Dr. Hendrix and his wife Bridget have two beautiful girls, Emily and Katie, who enjoy dancing, sports, and spending time with their spunky Boston terrier, named Cindy Lou Who. In his spare time, Dr. Hendrix loves woodworking, fishing, and following Aggie Football-WHOOP!
