Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Spillers is a San Antonio native and a graduate of the United State Air Force Academy. After having a distinguished career in the United States Air Force, he attended Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine to become a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Spillers has always shown a great compassion for animals - both human and our furry, feathered & scaley friends. Over the past 40 years he has opened his home and heart to many children outside of his own, six kids; providing them with a stable, loving family environment and support when they've needed it most. With the curiosity of a cat, he has shared his intrigue for life, music, science and sports to encourage and mold each child into confident adults, engaged with life, family and community. It is sometimes said that the veterinarian is the "Other Family Doctor". Dr. Spillers proudly took the helm of Town & Country Veterinary Hospital in 2003 to continue the honored tradition (since 1968) of providing medical services for our community's many animal family members. He has expanded Town & Country Veterinary Hospital to provide caring medical, surgical, grooming, and boarding services 24 hours a day in order to serve our diverse community. Dr. Spillers' favorite, cute, furry, canine daughter "Ginny" is often at the hospital to greet and entertain clients.
