Veterinarian Overview
At the age of 12, I knew I wanted to be a veterinarian. While working my way through undergraduate and vet school, I held a wide variety of interesting jobs which reinforced my decision to have no other career but veterinary medicine: Milk testing at dairies (at 4 am!). Exercise horses at a paint horse farm. Refueling airplanes at the municipal airport. Teaching Assistant at Astronomy lab. Analyzing grass samples in a Range Science lab. Both my undergraduate (Ranch Management) and Veterinary School years were spent at Texas A&M. Gig EM! Following stints as a practice co-owner and as a relief vet, I have worked at Central Texas Animal Hospital since 1998. I met my husband Jon, in high school. We married 3 weeks after graduation over 25 years ago! Our lovely daughter Chloe is a UT graduate.
