Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Ammons grew up in the countryside of southern England, but moved back to the US to attend Texas A&M University, graduating with honors. A 1999 graduate of Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine, she initially started out as a mixed animal veterinarian in East Texas. Dr. Ammons then spent the next 16 years in the field of emergency medicine before returning to general practice. She has an interest in soft tissue surgery and internal medicine. In her free time Dr; Ammons enjoys reading, gardening, horses, and spending time at the beach. She also enjoys spending time with her Miniature Australian Shepherd, Dixie, and her two cats Patches and Cowboy.
