Veterinarian Overview
Dr Baas (pronounced Boss) joined the practice in May of 2017. Dr. Baas spent her childhood in Texas and has always wanted to return since moving to North Louisiana in her early years. She received her Bachelors of Science degree from Louisiana Tech University in 2006, then went on to get her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from St. Georges University with her clinical rotations at Auburn University. Dr. Baas came to the practice with 5 years of experience in small animal practice and emergency medicine from Shreveport, Louisiana. She enjoys small animal practice and she has a special interest in veterinary dentistry. Dr. Baas currently lives in New Braunfels. Dr. Baas has 3 dogs and one cat named Tina, Mandy Lou Who, Abby, and Little Miss. In her spare time, Dr. Baas enjoys spending time with her pets, kayaking, painting, and exploring Texas. Dr Baas has a passion for healing as well as preventive veterinary medicine that exemplifies our hospitals mission.
