Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Albeisa Rut Garza was born and raised in Laredo, Texas. She is married to David Garza and together they have four, beautiful girls. She attended the University of Texas - Pan American for her undergraduate studies. There she obtained a bachelors degree in Pre-medical biology and minor in Chemistry. Dr. Garza taught high school biology and chemistry for about three years before attending Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Garza became a veterinarian when she realized her passion to always help animals in their time of need. She believes that being a veterinarian allows her to keep humanity safe from zoonotic diseases by practicing veterinary medicine and providing care for their animals. She has a special interest in internal medicine and surgery. What she likes most about veterinary medicine is that it allows her to be an advocate for animals who are unable to speak for themselves. Her hobbies and favorite past time includes scrapbooking, decorations, and spending time with family. She has two adorable pets; Milkshake, a 7 year old Cocker Spaniel and Violet, a 4 year old Yorkshire Terrier.
