Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Todd Phillips received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Texas A&M University in 1989. While attending veterinary school he also completed his Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Science. Prior to veterinary school he completed his Bachelor of Science in Zoology at the University of Texas at Austin. Dr. Phillips was self employed as a relief vet in and around San Antonio since 1997 until he joined our team here at Northern Oaks in 2009. Dr. Phillips is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Texas Veterinary Medical Association, and the Bexar County Veterinary Medical Association. His special interests include volunteering for a number of community programs. For example, he is a member of his homeowners association, and was a Chairman for Cellular On Patrol. He volunteers with his church, acting on the Board of Trustees, and has helped with their food pantry. He also volunteered with Habitat for Humanity. When he has spare time he enjoys spending time with his wife and son, as well as kayaking, fishing and gardening.
