Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Jeannie Clark is the Head of Emergency and Critical Care at MissionVet Specialty & Emergency. A native Texan, Dr. Clark completed her undergraduate degree at Texas A&M, her veterinary degree at Western University of Health Sciences, and completed an internship and 3-year residency in emergency and critical care at Lakeshore Veterinary Specialists. Dr. Clarks interest in emergency and critical care medicine led to her work as an intensive care technician at Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists for nine years before pursuing her veterinary career in emergency and critical care. Over the last four years Dr. Clark has gained a passion for teaching and mentoring technicians and colleagues, providing excellent patient care and client communication, and helping build a cohesive work environment with all specialties. Dr. Clarks special interests include mechanical ventilation, envenomation, anesthesia, shock, wound management, immune mediated disease, and pain management. When not practicing medicine, Dr. Clark enjoys outdoor pursuits: hiking, running, and camping, as well as excursions with her dogs Mickey and Ruger.
