Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Lauri Jehl graduated from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 1990. Her husband, Russ, is the Practice Manager. They have Labrador Retrievers named Rowdy & Axle that enjoy coming to work everyday, too. She is a Past President and current member of the Veterinary Medical Association of Bexar County and the Humane Society of San Antonio. She is also actively involved in the Texas Veterinary Medical Association, American Veterinary Medical Association and American Animal Hospital Association. She volunteers for San Antonio Livestock Exposition's Barbecue Cook-off Committee, Los Compadres de San Antonio Missions, the Corral Club and Karen Franklin Gastric Cancer Memorial Fund. In her free time she likes to travel, especially to the Caribbean, and enjoys fishing, water and snow skiing, and reading. She loves the feeling of knowing she is making a difference in her patients' lives. It has always been her dream to have her own veterinary hospital and offer high quality care for our furry friends. She is so happy that after 20 years of working in the Alamo Heights area, that goal has finally been realized.
