Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Wood received her DVM from Oklahoma State University in 2008. Her one-year rotating small animal internship was completed at VCA Mission Animal Referral and Emergency Center in Mission, KS. She was then accepted into a small animal medicine residency with BluePearl Veterinary Partners in Overland Park, KS. She finished her residency in 2012 and passed her board-certifying exams shortly thereafter. Her professional interests include gastrointestinal disease, hypoalbuminemia, and management of chronic renal disease.Dr. Woods other interests include cooking, wine tastings, and riding horses. She lives in Austin with her husband and her three dogs- Roxy, Maverick, and Zooey.
