Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Rebecca Davies was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska. Growing up in Alaska gave her an amazing appreciation for animals and nature. Dr. Davies moved to Texas for the University of Texas at Austin where she received her undergraduate degree in Biology. She received her DVM from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. Since graduation, Dr. Davies has worked in a busy small animal practice in Austin. Dr. Davies enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, but her professional interests include internal medicine, dentistry, dermatology, and behavior. Dr. Davies is known for building strong relationships with her clients, allowing for effective, comprehensive, and collaborative pet treatment plans. She is currently a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Texas Veterinary Medical Association, and Capital Area Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Davies is very excited to be joining the Firehouse team in August 2018.
