Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Sam McDonald grew up in Round Rock, Texas. He graduated with an undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences from Texas A&M, and then continued on to graduate with his DVM from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 2019. He grew up around animals of all sizes, with his dogs and cats at home and then larger animals at his grandparents in Chappell Hill, TX. During veterinary school, he was able to further explore emergency medicine, public health, technology in veterinary medicine and the human-animal bond. In his spare time, Dr. McDonald enjoys hiking, playing soccer, listening to live music and spending time with his wife, dog, Sawyer, and cat, Simba.
