Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Ruth (Johnson) Lacey grew up in Virginia with four older brothers, and still has a special affinity for the Shenandoah Valley. She earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from Asbury University in Kentucky. A combined interest in medicine, animals, and the desire to serve others led her to pursue veterinary medicine, and she went on to graduate with her veterinary degree from Tuskegee University in Alabama. Dr. Ruth Lacey has enjoyed past veterinary mission trips to Navajo and Apache reservations in New Mexico and Arizona, and has most recently served in Bolivia. She enjoys reading, walking outdoors, and spending time with family, especially her 14 nieces and nephews! In addition to serving the pets and people in this community, Dr. Ruth Lacey is looking forward to life in Texas with her new husband and kitty, Flicker.
