Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Huber started the Animal Hospital of Rowlett in 1988. He is a 1986 graduate of Kansas State University. He has extensive training in ultrasound and endoscopy. He has been a certified diplomate of The American Board of Veterinary practitioners since 1994, recently re-certifying for the 3rd time as a diplomate. This requires rigorous study and testing by the board. We are very proud of his achievement. His interests are gastrointestinal disease, cardiology and oncology. Dr. Huber and his wife Jennifer have three children, Curran, Caroline, and Callahan. The family pets consist of three felines (Bonnie, Stevie and Mikey) and 2 canines; Birdie and Sparky. Dr. Huber was born in Scotts Bluff, Nebraska, loves the Dallas Cowboys, Golden Retrievers, Border Collies and cats. He hopes to learn skydiving. He enjoys his vacation time with family. Dr. Huber may not be here seeing patients, but he has been and currently is, involved in the business of veterinary medicine over many years. The entrepreneurial ventures he has started and continue to be involved with, have led to many exciting opportunities for advancing patient care in veterinary medicine. From regenerative medicine, to oncology, to dental therapies, to ultrasound diagnostics and telemedicine, he is extremely involved in improving outcomes for all pet patients. He may not be here physically, but he is helping AHR bring new therapies and technologies into the global veterinary market.
