Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Muegge grew up in Corsicana, Texas. In May 2006, she obtained a Bachelors of Science in Biomedical Science with Cum Laude honors. (Whoop!) She then completed a year of graduate school at Texas A&M focused in Veterinary Physiology before being accepted into their Veterinary school. Dr. Muegge graduated from Texas A&M with her Doctorate in 2011 and a week after graduation moved out to Winters, Texas to begin practicing at a mix animal/emergency hospital. She then moved to the Houston area for a position at Banfield Pet Hospital in PetsMart and shortly after she met her husband Mason, who is a local plumber (more importantly also an Aggie!). Dr. Muegge then worked at Bay City Veterinary Hospital focusing on small animal medicine with an emphasis on emergency care. Her special interests are internal medicine, nutrition, preventative medicine, and providing excellent client experiences. Her and Mason have 2 four legged children: Junior- a sweet Pit Bull also known as June Bug and his best friend Zoe- a loving mix breed stray they literally built their fence around. They currently reside in the Wharton area.
