Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Hartais animal-care journey began in his teenage years, when he started volunteering at local pet clinics and working in dog kennels. It wasnt long before he was performing technician work and assisting veterinarians. Dr. Hartai then attended The University of Texas at Dallas and Texas A&M University for his undergraduate education before earning his DVM degree from St. George Universitys School of Veterinary Medicine, complete with a final clinical year at Oklahoma State Universitys College of Veterinary Medicine. He has attended post-graduate training at the Chi Institute to study veterinary acupuncture, herbal medicine, food therapy, and body work, and has also completed Parker College of Chiropractics animal chiropractic course. In addition, Dr. Hartai has earned his certification from the Canine Rehabilitation Institutes canine rehabilitation program.
Medically, Dr. Hartai is particularly fond of working with senior-aged dogs and giving them enhanced mobility, comfort, and quality of life. He also enjoys keeping sporting dogs in tip-top shape. Most of all, Dr. Hartai enjoys interacting with his clientele on a daily basis and imparting his knowledge to the areas loving pet owners.
Outside of his interests in the veterinary world, Dr. Hartai is an avid scuba diver and snorkeler, and also loves photography. Sometimes, he likes to combine these passions and take breathtaking underwater photos! Dr. Hartai lives with his wife, their two young sons, and a pair of loveable dogs: Lily is a Vizsla who came all the way from Hungary after Dr. Hartai graduated from veterinary school, and Sky the Golden retriever is a rescue who insists on someone constantly touching her.
