Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Christensen is originally from a small town in south Texas. She has had an interest in horses ever since she was young and has wanted to be a veterinarian since she was ten years old. She graduated from veterinary school at Texas A&M University in May, 2007. Afterwards, she pursued an internship at a private equine practice in Northern Virginia. Her main areas of interest include internal medicine, reproduction, lameness, emergency medicine and preventative care. Dr. Christensen has been with EVA since June of 2008. She is a member of AVMA, TVMA and AAEP. Horses have been her passion all of her life and she is enthusiastic about joining the practice here at Equine Veterinary Associates
