Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Christopher Teff was born in Garland, Texas. He attended Texas A&M University, receiving a bachelors degree in Biomedical Science in 2004. He then went to graduate school at Oklahoma State University for Microbiology and Molecular Genetics. In 2008, he was accepted at Texas A&M University's College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 2012. He then went directly into small animal emergency practice at an urgent care clinic in Katy, Texas. He got married in 2012 to his lovely wife Paige. They moved to the Austin area in 2014, where he worked at a busy ER and Specialty hospital. He moved back to the DFW area in 2017 and joined the team at Animal Emergency Hospital of Mansfield. Dr. Teff currently lives in Fort Worth with his wife. They have an iguana, "Comrade Scuttles" and six chickens. One of these chickens is "Steve," - she is the best chicken. His interests include ultrasound, emergency and critical care, internal medicine and surgery.
