Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Mathre joined Acres North Veterinary Hospital in February 2016. She is a graduate of Colorado State University, obtaining her Bachelors of Science in equine science cum laude and in the Honors College in 2004 and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. Having grown up in Lubbock, she is happy to come back home after practicing in central Texas and most recently in Midland, TX. Dr. Mathre has settled here with her husband, son, an English pointer named Lady, a Jack Russell terrier named Mickey Rooney, a domestic shorthair named Uggo, and a Maine coon named Pumpkin. She also has a half-Arabian horse named Tekno and a miniature horse named Munchkin. Dr. Mathre has an interest in preventive medicine, soft tissue surgery, pain management, and dentistry. She looks forward to being a part of your veterinary healthcare team at Acres North Veterinary Hospital and providing excellent veterinary care for your pets.
