Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Roslyn Reavis was raised in San Antonio TX, and her love of animals became apparent with the variety of pets she grew up with and enjoyed on their family ranch. As her interest in animal care and treatment developed, she decided to go to Texas State University to pursue a degree in Animal Science and Biochemistry. She received her doctorate of veterinary medicine from St. Georges University in Grenada in 2014 where she graduated Cum Laude and was inducted into the veterinary honor society Phi Zeta. Dr. Reavis special interests are small animal surgery, dermatology, and small exotics/pocket pets. She is committed to attend all continuing education events and understands the importance of continuing to grow her knowledge with current up to date therapies to offer the best care for her patients. She enjoys volunteering with Prevent A Litter of San Marcos spaying and neutering cats to help with feline overpopulation. In her spare time, she enjoys kayaking, traveling, and entertaining her pets at home. She is a member of the Comal County, Texas and American Veterinary Medical Associations. Dr. Reavis was excited to join the Firehouse team in 2017 where she can be part of a veterinary group that provides such high-quality medical care and excellent client service
