Veterinarian Overview
Dr Bennie Zacek has been practicing veterinary medicine and surgery since beginning Kingwood Veterinary Clinic in 1973. In 1979, he had the present Kingwood Animal Hospital facility built and continued as a private practice until 1998 when he joined the corporate veterinary world and became VCA Kingwood Animal Hospital. This move enabled him to spend his time more efficiently with medical/surgical practice and less with management, which is done by his hospital manager. He loves assisting his clients with their pets' health issues while promoting the human/animal bond. Away from practice, he looks forward to spending a week every summer being a 'beach bum' at a Surfside Beach Home with his family including his wife Tracy and 7 grandchildren. He also loves golf, fishing, and the hill country. He has Paddington, a golden retriever, and Prizzi, a shihtzu/maltese, who enjoy going to work with him.
