Veterinarian Overview
I received a BS in Animal Science from OSU in 1965. After graduation I worked for McGraw Hill Publishing Company from 1965-1968. In late 1968, I attented Purdue University where I worked on a Master of Science in Animal Nutrition until 1971. I attented OSU from 1971-1975 where I earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree. Following graduation, I did an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Oklahoma State University from 1975-1976. In 1976 I moved to Texas where I was a resident in small animal surgery at Texas A&M University from 1976-1978. I received my MS in Veterinary Surgery in 1978. Following my degree, I joined the teaching staff as an Associate Professor in Small Animal Surgery and held this position from 1978-1983. In 1983, I moved to Huntsville, Texas where I began my career in private practice.
