Veterinarian Overview
Born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana Dr. Jones decided she would become a veterinarian at the age of 12. She attended Northwestern State University and received her Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts with a concentration in Scientific Inquiry in 2013. She was then awarded her doctorate in Veterinary Medicine at the Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2017. She is an active member of the Texas Veterinary Medical Association, the American Veterinary Medical Association, and the American Animal Hospital Association. Dr. Jones and her husband, Matthew Walters are the proud parents of three dogs, Sneakers, a 7 year old Beagle/Rat Terrier mix and Gumbo, a 2 year old Pit Bull mix, and Nora, a 5 year old Pit Bull mix. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, hiking, and kayaking.
