Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Jaime Doherty joined the hospital staff in June 2014. She comes to us with a vast amount of experience after practicing in a 24 hour hospital in Arlington, TX for the previous 6 years. During these past 6 years she has completed continuing education courses in Abdominal and Cardiac Ultrasonography and Endoscopy to enhance diagnostic and treatment capabilities for our patients. Dr. Doherty has become well versed in internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, emergency medicine and critical care and strives to provide care to her patients as if they were her own. Dr. Doherty is a native of Ontario, Canada and received her DVM in 2007 from the Ontario Veterinary College at the University of Guelph. She also completed her B.S. degree from the University of Guelph in 2003. After receiving her DVM, Dr. Doherty completed a 12 month dual hemisphere veterinary internship between Texas and Australia. She continues to take pride in keeping current by attending continuing education lectures and conferences whenever possible. We are excited and happy to have Dr. Doherty join the hospital team.
