Veterinarian Overview
I have always had an affinity for animals since I was very small, and enjoyed feeding and taking care of the family pets. Each pet has their own personality and it is a joy getting to know all of my patients.I always knew I wanted to be a veterinarian, and my first job in a vet clinic was when I was 16 cleaning kennels. I grew up in Houston and graduated from Memorial High School, then attended the University of Texas at Austin with a BA in Biology. Right after college I began at Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 2009. I have been in the Houston area ever since.My special interests in veterinary medicine include internal medicine such as diabetes management, as well as dermatology. When I'm not at the clinic I enjoy running, playing soccer, and hanging out with my husband Allan, husky mix Django, and calico Sophie
