Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Anna (Nelson) Larson grew up in Kingwood, Texas. When she was just four years old, her preschool class took a field trip to Kings Crossing Animal Hospital and she was inspired by their loving veterinarians. She began working as a veterinary technician at Kings Crossing Animal Hospital while in high school. After graduation, she headed off to Texas A&M University where she received her BS degrees in Biomedical Science and Animal Science. Along with her love for animals, she has always enjoyed studying French. While at A&M, she minored in French and studied abroad during one of her summer breaks. She married her high school sweetheart, Sam Larson, and they now have two beautiful children, Jayce and Savanna. Dr. Larson graduated from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 2011 with training in small animal medicine and an interest in wildlife. She joined our VitalPet Houston family during the summer of 2011. Each week, Dr. Larson can be found working at our Atascocita, Porter, and Humble clinics.
