Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Melissa Jennings received her DVM from Louisiana State University in 2009. She completed her small animal rotating internship at North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine followed by a neurology residency at the Veterinary Neurological Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. Following completion of her residency, Dr. Jennings went on to become a staff neurologist at Florida Veterinary Specialty Center, and later became the staff neurologist at Coral Springs Animal Hospital. Dr. Jennings is credited with building the neurology service at both Florida hospitals. In 2016, Dr. Jennings became board certified by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine. Dr. Jennings is certified in canine rehabilitation and therapy through the Canine Rehabilitation Institute and is also Fear Free certified
