Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Eric Ta is excited to join the team at Phillips Creek Veterinary Hospital. He has been practicing small animal and reptilian medicine in the north Dallas area since 2011 after graduating from Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine. His love for animals and desire to become a veterinarian became clear at a very young age after bottle feeding and caring for his Chow mix puppy at the age of 12. Dr. Ta's passion for providing high quality medicine and education to each patient is evident in his desire to become a diplomat of American Board of Veterinary Practitioners in Canine and Feline Medicine. He currently is working towards this goal with the guidance of Dr. Lopez. In his spare time, Dr. Ta enjoys spending time with his wife, Teresa, and 2 small children, Marissa and Ben. He also is a dad to a sweet Labrador mix, Maggie, and 6 ball python snakes. Dr. Ta also is an avid OU Sooner fan and received his Bachelor of Science in Zoology in 2005. Dr. Ta looks forward to meeting you and your four-legged or scaly forked tongue companion!q
