Veterinarian Overview

Dr. Steven Hull has been practicing in the DFW area since 1998. He attended undergraduate classes at Oklahoma State University for just 2 years before being accepted to OSU's College of Veterinary Medicine at age 19. In the summer of 1996, Dr. Hull and Dr. Lopez met through mutual friends while both in Veterinary School at OSU. This nearly 22 year friendship is a large part of what brought Dr. Hull to Phillips Creek Veterinary Hospital after a 14 year tenure at Carrier Animal Hospital in Grand Prairie. In his spare time during high school, he began showing cats in the Cat Fanciers' Association. He exhibited several breeds of cats to National Wins, earning them wins among the top 15 cats in the country. One of these cats, a Russian Blue named Nick, was featured on ESPN in a special chronicling a show Steven attended in San Francisco in 1992. Later that same year, he began breeding and showing Oriental and Colorpoint Shorthairs and eventually produced a National Winner in both breeds. Another hobby of his is bowling, in both leagues and amateur tournaments. The highlight of Steven's bowling career was a perfect 300 game in October 2002. Currently, Dr. Hull has two Miniature Australian Shepherds, Marlee and Maddie, as well as a Colorpoint Shorthair named Belle.

I have not seen dr hull since he left carrier animal, but when he was here he was very gentle with my Pelusa, a turkish angolia. I miss him every time it comes to ho yearly check up, he's a great doctor. She is 10 years old now and happy. I wish him the best in life and hope to see him again one day.

I live in Denver and Fly to see Dr. Hull whenever i have complicated issues with my Persian cats. He is the most knowledgable and reasonable doctor I have found. He is very smart and knows what needs to be done. He does not need to do every expensive test under the sun because he is unfamiliar or inexperienced. I have been to numerous vets in Denver, Colorado and none of them have taken the time and interest with my pets. Best Vet Ever. Even having to fly with my pets all the time.
