Veterinarian Overview
An El Paso native, Dr. Guy Johnsen graduated from Burges High School, completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Texas at El Paso and received his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine (DVM) at Texas A&M School of Veterinary Medicine. Throughout his business life he has devoted his time and energies to the El Paso community and the state of Texas in many capacitiesDr. Johnsen was honored with the Texas Veterinary Medical Association's "President Award" in 1996, "Companion Animal Practioner of the Year Award" in 1998, "Public Relations Award" in 2003, and the El Paso Veterinary Medical Association Community Involvement Award in 2006. He maintains strong interests in internal medicine with an emphasis on infectious disease and cardiology.
