Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Olivia Gifford, knew from an early age that she wanted to be a veterinarian and set out to accomplish that goal. Born and raised in Kentucky, she obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Kentucky before moving to Alabama where she was a 2013 graduate of Auburn Universitys College of Veterinary Medicine. She began her veterinary career as an Associate Veterinarian at a small animal private practice outside of Atlanta, Georgia. During her two years in Georgia, she was very active in the community as a member of local civic organizations including Rotary and SERTOMA. Dr. Gifford joined our team in September of 2015. Her professional interests include, dentistry and internal medicine. She welcomes all canine and feline patients and the occasional bird of prey. When shes not working, she is an avid University of Kentucky and Auburn fan, and enjoys spending time with family, hiking, watching movies, and playing with her dog, Ginger.
