Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Young was born in Richardson, Texas and lived the first eighteen years of his life in Fort Worth, Texas. After graduating from Fort Worth Country Day he went to Rhodes where he majored in International Business and Finance while teaching racing sailing and equitation in the summer in Maine. Until 2003, he worked as a financial analyst for an NYSE traded ski company. Afterward he returned to school at the University of Arkansas where he received a degree in Animal Science. In 2006 he began veterinary school at the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine graduating in 2010 with awards for orthopedic surgery and patient/client care. His first year out he practiced in an internal medicine and neurology clinic in Little Rock Arkansas under one of the founders of Veterinary Neurosurgery. Dr. Young has three pets, Bess and Porgy which are 2 year old Pug litter mates and Belle, a 21 year old beagle that looks and plays like a 6 year old dynamo!
