Veterinarian Overview
James Cellini, DVM has been a part of the Neurology team at MedVet Chicago since 2016. Dr. Cellini attended the Georgia Institute of Technology where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Applied Biology in 2005 followed by a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. Upon completion of veterinary school, Dr. Cellini performed a yearlong small animal rotating internship, as well as yearlong internship in small animal neurology before spending two in private practice as an emergency clinician. Dr. Cellini then completed a three-year residency in small animal neurology and neurosurgery at The Animal Neurology and Imaging Center in Algodones, New Mexico. Dr. Cellini is the author of a scientific article on Etiopathogenesis of seizures in young adult toy breed dogs which is currently in press.
