Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Lavigne was born in San Francisco, California, but was raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. He attended Xavier University in Louisiana, completing his undergraduate studies in Biology. It was during this time that he made the decision to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. Upon completion of his undergraduate studies, Dr. Lavigne attended Tuskegee University in Alabama where he earned his degree in Veterinary Medicine in 2007.
After earning his degree in veterinary medicine, Dr. Lavigne spent several years in a thriving veterinary practice in Las Vegas, Nevada. Here he enjoyed providing quality medical service to his patients and connected with his clients because of his comprehensive and compassionate care. Dr. Lavigne enjoys all aspects of general practice, however, it was during his years of practice in Las Vegas that he discovered his special interests within the field„soft tissue surgery and emergency medicine.
Away from work Dr. Lavigne enjoys the company of his wife and two children; a daughter and a son. He also enjoys outdoor activities like fishing, golfing, hiking, camping or just enjoying the company of family and friends. He and his family share their lives with a Schnauzer mix dog named Woody and a French Bulldog named Yama.
