Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Cordero was born and raised in Puerto Rico. She attended Oklahoma State University for her undergraduate and postgraduate studies. She graduated in 2004 with a Bachelors degree in Animal Science and received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2008. She continued her studies at OSU and completed a PhD in Veterinary Biomedical Sciences in 2012. After graduation, Dr. Cordero relocated to the DFW area to practice small animal medicine. She became the owner of Bartonville Veterinary Center in September 2016. Dr. Cordero is married to Chris, who is Director of Gas Engineering at CoServ. They share their home with an 8-year-old dachshund named Charlie and a thirteen-year-old cat named Lillie. They have called Lantana home since 2013. In her spare time, Dr. Cordero enjoys reading, traveling, horseback riding and cooking. She is also a member of the FM407 Lions Club and the Greater Argyle Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Cordero is committed to her employees and community. She is passionate about keeping our neighborhood pets healthy while providing an exceptional client experience.
