Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Casey Hill joined the HighlandÍs team in July 2014 but has been practicing veterinary medicine here in Austin since 2010. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia in 2005 and her veterinary degree from Virginia Tech in 2010 after which she promptly moved to Texas to care for AustinÍs many pets. She was joined in her Texas Adventure by her husband, Christian, who is counted among AustinÍs growing ñcomputer geekî population. They have two cats, Ziploc and Isabel, who are in charge of the household nap schedule as well as greeting all guests at the door and promptly identifying the ones with cat allergies to receive special attention. Despite many attempts, Dr. Hill has never been happy narrowing her field of interest. Rather, she most enjoys practicing general medicine and treating an ear infection one day and a complicated metabolic disease the next. She does, however, have a special place in her heart for feline medicine.
