Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Michael Patino is a native Texan, and grew up in El Paso. He completed his B.S. in animal science at New Mexico State University. He then acquired his DVM from Western University of Health Sciences in Southern California in 2010. After graduation he went on to complete a general rotating internship in Phoenix, Arizona at Sonora Veterinary Specialists in 2011. He has also completed a specialty internship in neurology at VCA Animal Specialty Center in Yonkers, New York in 2013. Since then he has spent his career focusing on advancing his clinical skills and abilities in emergency medicine, surgery and neurology in the DFW area. His clinical interests include trauma cases, toxicities, wound management and repair, and neurological emergencies.
