Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Robert Gaines is a 2001 graduate of LSU College of Veterinary Medicine and enjoys soft-tissue & orthopedic surgery, as well as, diagnosing complicated cases via ultrasound. Dr. Gaines initially joined the Mansfield Animal Clinic team as a relief vet in the spring 2014. After a short period of time, it was evident that his style of medicine and upbeat attitude was a natural fit, so in November of 2014 he came onboard full-time. His sense of humor and honest client-interactions have quickly endeared him to both pets and owners, alike. Dr. Gaines shares his home in Mansfield with his Lab, Mater, and during his time off he enjoys a variety of outdoor activities and spending time with his kids, Kariss and Kolby.
