Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Treuil received a B.S. in secondary Science Education from the University of Oklahoma in 1998 before receiving his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in his home state Louisiana at LSU in 2002. Dr. Treuil then attended Colorado state university where he completed a residency in radiation oncology and simultaneously received his masters degree in radiation biology. In 2005, he became a diplomat in the American College of Veterinary Radiology and a board certified specialists in the field of radiation oncology. For several years Dr. Treuil then served as the Chief of radiation oncology in private practice in Dallas, TX. In April of 2011, he relocated to Charlotte, North Carolina to oversee the radiation oncology service at Carolina Veterinary Specialists. Dr. Treuil shares his time between Carolina Veterinary Specialists and VCA Capital Area Veterinary Specialists.
