Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Tapp grew up in Bristol, TN and attended Carson Newman University in Jefferson City, TN where she majored in Biology and minored in Psychology. She obtained her veterinary degree from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine (with Dr. Koss!) and moved to the Charlotte, NC region after school. She practiced there for about 6 years and then realized how much she missed Tennessee so she chose Chattanooga as her home. Dr. Tapp enjoys reading, binge-watching TV, and traveling. She lives in the Hixson area with 2 cats (Niblet and Nutmeg) and 2 dogs (Bertie and Max). She is looking forward to becoming more competent at ultrasound and is excited to get started with house calls for the hospital. She has special interests in kidney disease (thanks to her cat Niblet) and end-of-life care
