Education: Graduated with DVM in May 2012 from North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine; Graduated with BS in Zoology and Biological Sciences in May 2008 from North Carolina State University Work History: Volunteered at many small animal clinics in the Asheville/Brevard area after graduation before finding her position at Landrum Veterinary Hospital Your pets: Molly = an 8 year old blonde Cairn terrier mix that is the pillow princess of the house; Sirius Black = a 7 year old black spitfire Domestic Shorthaired cat; Milly = an 8 month old Golden Retriever that is 100% goofball. Your family: My husband, Josh, is a mechanical engineer at a manufacturing facility in Black Mountain, NC. We both recently purchased our first home in Hendersonville, NC and we are so happy to settle in the beautiful mountains of NC. Your areas of specialty/interest: I enjoy preventative medicine, internal medicine, and soft tissue surgery. I love working with canine patients, but I particularly enjoy working with felines and trying to make their visit a stress-free experience. I enjoy communicating with my clients and making them feel comfortable and well-informed about their pets health. Personal interests: Cooking, exploring the beautiful mountains of western North Carolina, and practicing to become an expert theremin player
