Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Wendy Zimmerman, the founder and owner of Door to Door Pet Doctor, has known from a very young age that she wanted to be a veterinarian. Her inspiration was her cat Tigger, who was a best friend growing up. She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from The Ohio State College of Veterinary Medicine in 2002. She graduated in 1996 with honors from Delaware Valley College in Doylestown, Pennsylvania with a B.S. in Animal Science. She was also born and raised in the greater Philadelphia area. In 2009, Dr. Wendy became a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist (C.V.A.) through the Chi Institute.Dr. Wendy is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, American Association of Housecall Veterinarians, and The American Academy of Veterinary Acupuncture. She also provides services for a number of veterinary hospitals throughout the region. In addition, she has appeared as a Veterinary consultant for WB17 News.
