Veterinarian Overview
Has been an Associate Veterinarian since June 2008. She received her undergraduate degree from Cornell University and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from The Ohio State University in 1998. After graduation she worked in a small animal practice in Boston for 6 1/2 years before returning to her hometown of Pittsburgh. She lives with her husband (also a veterinarian) 2 sons, a daughter, 2 dogs, 2 cats and a tank full of fish. Although she keeps busy with work and family, Dr. Rau enjoys all indoor and outdoor sports (as both a participant and a spectator), good food, and day-dreaming about future travels.
