This review about dr Chung Lee, it was at the North star veterinarian hospital in Robbinsville. The staff there is very nice. This was an emergency for my dachshund dog whose back legs Were collapsing, and he couldn’t walk. When I got there the nurse took him from my arms because he was shivering. . I didn’t wait long in the waiting room. The nurse returned and brought me to his office. I waited quite a long time before he came in. When he did appear, there was no greeting. He went right into what procedure/operation The hospital has available. He didn’t say anything about my dogs condition or what he thought it could be. He Just kept on telling me all the procedures The hospital has available. I kept on telling him that my dog was 16 years old. I did not want to put him through that. I Asked him if there was anything that he could suggest. He suggested medication but insisted that he had other available things that the hospital could do, but they were all invasive . He never even looked at my dog, he gave me no idea what could be wrong with him. I put my dog on the floor to show him how his back legs were collapsing. He , didn’t pay any attention, he didn’t say anything about it! I left his office and sat in the waiting room for a long time. Another Doctor looked at me and she said you’re still here? I told her I was waiting for the script and she said wait a minute and she went back there I guess to ask him if the script was ready. When she appeared again, she saw I was still sitting there and she went back there again I guess to see if it was ready? He finally appeared. Never came over to me to explain about the medication, he just went to the desk, handed the girl the Script and walked back to wherever he was coming from. If I ever have to go there again for an emergency visit, I would first ask If he was the only doctor available, if he was, I’d go somewhere else.

Aug 13 2022 My cat was diabetic and had a dangerously low glycemic episode . My husband and I rushed him to Blue Pearl that afternoon. The cat was treated, recovered, and stayed overnight. The cat was found to also have pancreatitis. Aug 14 We picked him up and took him home. Our bill was over 2,000.00. We paid. Aug 15 Early this morning, not much past midnight, my beloved cat had another low glycocemic episode. Blood sugar 30, deathly. My husband and I rushed him to Blue Pearl. He was suffering and dying . I called Blue Pearl before I left to tell them I was coming. I told the tech that we want the cat euthanized because his condition was too severe to be managed at home and the cat was suffering. He was obviously dying. The technician took the cat back to a room . The tech said that the doctor wants to treat the cat and does not feel comfortable euthanizing the cat. We told her that we do not want the cat to be resuscitated. The tech also told us that the doctor was busy with other clients and that I would have to wait a long time. The tech said “ The doctor said it takes too long to read through the cat’s chart. The doctor won’t come out to see you . You should take the cat elsewhere.” In the meantime, the cat continued to suffer. My husband demanded to see the doctor. The tech relayed the message to the doctor and the tech came out once again and said”The doctor won’t see you. You could leave the cat here and pick up the cat’s blankets tomorrow”. Meanwhile, my cat is still suffering. I am livid. Our agony and 2,000.00 spent there the previous day was meaningless to this doctor. There was absolutely no one else in the place and no cars in the parking lot. The doctor never did come out to see or talk to us. The tech went back again and must have convinced the doctor to do his job. The tech took us in a room and presented to us our deceased cat. On the way out of the room, I saw the doctor standing and peeking through the door cowardly as we walked by. The doctor had the time to stand there and look out his door at us. I have never experienced such blatant callousness . This person showed absolutely no empathy. This doctor should be ashamed of his extremely inappropriate behavior and treating us like we were nobodies. There will never be a next time at Blue Pearl Animal Hospital for me. Never.
