Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Ambrose was born and raised in Hanover Township, PA. She decided upon a career at age two, when she announced to her family, "I want to be an animal doctor when I grow up." Dr. Ambrose spent her childhood taking care of neighborhood strays and numerous family pets. She graduated from Wilkes University in 1992, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Prior to beginning veterinary school in September 1993, Dr. Ambrose spent a year doing post-graduate work in Parasitology at Wilkes University. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in Philadelphia, PA, in May of 1997. Dr Ambrose worked at several local practices before joining Plains Animal Hospital in February 2006.
