Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Nate Stanglein grew up working at Stanglein Veterinary Clinic as an assistant and eventually a technician during his formative years. He went to Colby College in Waterville ME and in 2004 obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Classic-English with a minor in Chemistry. He received his VMD from the University of Pennsylvania in 2009.Following graduation, Dr. Nate completed an Internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at the MSPCA-Angell Animal Medical Center in Boston, MA. He then spent 2 years working as an emergency veterinarian at a referral facility in Long Island before returning to his roots at Stanglein Veterinary Clinic.He is a member of both the American and Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Associations and of the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society. He has a Spaniel mix named Omaha and a tabby named Montecore. An avid hockey fan, Dr. Nate can still be found playing hockey and watching the Flyers whenever possible.
