Veterinarian Overview
I grew up in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, where I Would spend the weekends horseback riding, going to my cottage for water skiing or fishing and playing with my dog. Animals have always been a large part of my life and becoming a veterinarian seemed to be a logical career path. Ive worked outside the city of Pittsburgh at a general veterinary practice for a number of years as a veterinary technician before attending the University of Tennessee, College of Veterinary Medicine. My interests in Veterinary Medicine include small animal diagnostic imaging, ophthalmology, dentistry, and internal medicine. I am also interested in bovine medicine and reproduction. I received the Excellence in Small Animal Dentistry and Oral Surgery Award and graduated with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in May of 2012.I enjoy all outdoor activities, hiking, camping, biking, canoeing/boating, fishing, golfing, hunting, rollerblading, and volleyball to name a few. I also enjoy spending time with my dog, a Black Lab/Boxer mix, who enjoys being outdoors as much as I do
