Veterinarian Overview
Since April 2010, Dr. Kimberly Boudwin has been serving as our full-time Director of Shelter Medicine. Dr. Boudwin is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvanias School of Veterinary Medicine. Prior to revamping our medical policies and procedures, Dr. Boudwin worked as a full-time veterinarian at a private practice. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Association and is a USDA-accredited veterinarian. Dr. Boudwins passion is surgery, specifically soft-tissue and orthopedic surgeries, many of which she has performed on owned animals in the community, saving families from the threat of euthanizing their family pet due to not being able to afford the special surgery at a private practice. Dr. Boudwin is the owner of two cats, Howard and Utley.
