Veterinarian Overview
Hi! My name is Dr. Klint Hockenberry. I grew up in Lewisberry and live in Leola with my wife (Nicci) and son (Grant). I graduated from Juniata College and Ohio State University. I enjoy all aspects of veterinary medicine and surgery, with special interest in theriogenology (reproduction) and surgery (orthopedics and soft tissue). I was chosen from my graduating class to receive the Excellence in Theriogenology award. Reproductive services include: ovulation timing, artificial insemination, semen evaluation, pregnancy diagnosis, cesarean section, neonatal care. I perform cranial cruciate ligament (ACL) repair and numerous soft tissue surgeries. There are many aspects of being a veterinarian that I absolutely love; creating a fear-free feline visit is one very rewarding part of my job. I love meeting members of the local community and am privileged to be able to develop lifelong relationships with pets and their people. My outside interests include exercise, landscaping, and fishing. I also like jigsaw puzzles and word jumbles. We have two older cats (Teeny and Hara) and a dock-jumping German Shorthair pointer (Pepper).
